Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Conduct various physical and functional tests on products and components using specialized equipment.
• Document inspection results, test data, and non-conformances accurately in quality records.
• Initiate and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis.
• Maintain calibration records and assist with the calibration of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Support the implementation and adherence to quality control plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints related to product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality control principles.
• Experience performing inspections, testing, and documenting results in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing quality issues.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with specific quality software (e.g., Minitab, dedicated SPC software, LIMS).
• Internal auditing experience (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
