Body Shop Estimator
NOW HIRING: Body Shop Estimator Location: Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet – Waterford, MI Full-Time Position Joe Lunghamer Chevy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Collision Shop Estimator to join our Body Shop team. If you're passionate about the automotive industry and want to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment — we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assess and document collision damage on vehicles
- Create detailed repair estimates using CCC estimating system
- Collaborate with customers, insurance companies, and technicians throughout the repair process
- Participate in Direct Repair Programs (DRPs) and ensure compliance with guidelines
- Maintain clear, professional communication with all parties involved
- Ensure all estimates and repairs follow industry standards and safety regulations
- Prior experience as a Collision Shop Estimator
- Proficiency with the CCC estimating system
- Familiarity with Direct Repair Programs (DRPs)
- A valid, clean driver’s license
- State Certification in Unibody & Collision Mechanical
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy shop environment
