The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
• Design, implement, and validate new equipment, processes, and technologies for production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for process control and performance tracking.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs, flowcharts, and process specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing process issues.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or process simulation tools
• Experience with advanced data analytics tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for process optimization
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
