Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures for manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify part quality to ensure production readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and work instructions for accurate machine configuration.
• Execute minor preventative maintenance tasks on equipment during changeovers.
• Document setup parameters and process adjustments for record-keeping and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and understanding of quality control processes.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• PLC programming or diagnostic experience.
• Forklift certification and experience operating overhead cranes.
