About the Role:

As a Machine Operator at Hugo Benzing LLC, you will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, operate, and maintain various types of production machinery, including press machines and mold machines, to meet production targets. You will also be responsible for monitoring the quality of the output, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with production machinery and tools, including CNC machines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification in machine operation or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on assembly line processes.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a production setting.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production machinery, including press machines and mold machines, according to specifications.
• Monitor machinery during operation to ensure optimal performance and quality of output.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Utilize tools such as micrometers and deburring equipment to ensure precision in production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Skills:

The required skills for this position, such as proficiency in operating assembly line machinery and press machines, will be utilized daily to ensure efficient production processes. Your ability to operate overhead cranes and clamp trucks will be essential for moving materials safely and effectively throughout the facility. Familiarity with production machinery will allow you to quickly identify and resolve any operational issues that may arise. Additionally, skills in using tools like micrometers and deburring equipment will ensure that the products meet quality standards.
