The Role

We're hiring a Business Analyst to sit at the intersection of our product, revenue cycle, and customer implementation teams. You'll translate healthcare workflows — intake, eligibility, coding, claims, denials, multi-site reporting — into clear requirements, dashboards, and process improvements that make HealthOS measurably better for the clinics that depend on it.

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves digging into data, asking "why," and turning ambiguity into decisions.

What You'll Do

Partner with product managers, engineers, and customer success to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for new HealthOS features and workflow enhancements

Map current-state and future-state clinical and revenue cycle workflows (intake → encounter → orders → billing → reimbursement) and identify automation opportunities

Build and maintain dashboards and reports (revenue, denials, eligibility, scheduling utilization, multi-location P&L) using SQL and BI tools

Analyze customer usage data and operational KPIs to surface trends, quantify pain points, and recommend product or process changes

Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs; support UAT and rollout planning

Support implementation projects for new customers — data migration mapping, configuration decisions, and go-live readiness

Serve as a subject-matter liaison between clinical/billing stakeholders and engineering, ensuring both sides speak the same language

Contribute to competitive and market analysis on outpatient EMR, RCM, and interoperability trends

What We're Looking For
Required

3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, ideally in healthcare, SaaS, or fintech

Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large operational datasets

Experience with BI/visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

Proven ability to document requirements, process flows, and specs (BPMN, user stories, PRDs)

Excellent written and verbal communication — you can brief a clinician, a developer, and an executive in the same day

Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7 v2.x, FHIR R4, or healthcare interoperability standards

Exposure to Agile/Scrum product development

Experience supporting SaaS implementations or customer onboarding

Nice to have

Python or R for ad-hoc analysis

CBAP, CSPO, or Epic/Cerner certifications

Prior work with multi-location provider groups or urgent care operators
