We are seeking a state certified Automotive Technician to join our small technician team. This role focuses on servicing passenger cars, light trucks, and a variety of mixed vehicle types. The ideal candidate will utilize diagnostic tools to conduct thorough vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issues
- Conduct brake system maintenance and repairs
- Maintain and repair engines and electrical systems
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections
- Replace parts as necessary to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle condition and repairs
- Conduct test drives to verify completed repairs
Preferred Qualifications
- State Automotive Technician Certification
- Experience with engine repair and brake system maintenance
- Proficient in electrical diagnostics and use of diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
