Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to perform quality control and assurance tasks on piles and racking for the mechanical contractor on a project. Candidates should possess the ability to use basic hand and power tools, as well as a ruler to a tenth of an inch. Mechanical inclination and proficiency with technology, such as iPads and computers, are essential. The role involves inspection and quality assurance/control on all mechanical phases of the job.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control and assurance work on piles and racking for the mechanical contractor.
- Utilize basic hand and power tools effectively.
- Conduct inspections and quality assurance on all mechanical phases of the project.
- Demonstrate proficiency with technology including iPads and computers.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical and pile quality control.
- Ability to use either an iPad or a computer.
- Proficiency in solar, construction, QA/QC, and mechanical processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Work Environment
The role is based at a solar project site in Coldwater, MI, within a new construction environment. Individuals will work 5-6 shifts per week, totaling 50-60 hours, daily at 7 AM. The work includes three breaks each day and begins with a safety talk each morning. Appropriate outdoor work clothing and steel-toe boots above the ankle are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
