Location: Detroit
Compensation: $40/hour
Program Dates: June 8 – July 10
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am to 12:30 pm and 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Pre-Program Meeting: Meeting in 4th week of May (date TBD)
Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students.
Follow curriculum guidelines, and scope and sequence created, maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.
Conduct Pre and Post program assessments
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.
Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality.
Attend a mandatory meeting in May (exact date TBD).
Required:
A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
OR
A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro AssessmentProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms
Will need to upload documents in teams
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field
Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education
Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
