CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer
Location :: Auburn Hills, MI, US, 48326

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer with 1-5+ years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have direct, verifiable experience with multiple mold tooling types and a strong mechanical aptitude to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program CNC machines to meet production requirements

• Build, modify, and maintain mold tooling across multiple applications

• Utilize precision hand tools and measurement instruments

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Ensure quality standards and adherence to safety protocols

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Required Mold Experience (Hands-on):
Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with the following mold types:

• Low-pressure injection molds for investment castings

• Plastic injection molds (prototype, production, and dunnage molds)

• Metal injection molds (MIM)

• RIM molds for foam tooling

Preferred Skills/Tools:

• Proficiency in Cimatron or MasterCam

• Strong mold shop experience with proven CNC programming and machining skills

• Background in automotive, defense, firearms, or consumer product tooling

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Must have verifiable, hands-on experience with the mold types listed above
