Technical Engineering Services Manager

The TES Manager supports sustainable solutions for the Performance Materials Polyol (PMO) business in North America, especially in the PSM/RMP/Responsible Care management work processes. This role involves working with a broad range of people, including members of the operations and technology teams, laboratory services, EHS, process controls group, and engineering to accomplish business goals.

- Ensuring staff follow safety rules and promote site-wide safety behaviors
- Overseeing compliance by effectively managing the Asset Integrity Program
- Managing compliance and contractor safety, cost, and performance for site construction and maintenance
- Applying consistent work processes and sustaining reliability practices across the site
- Encouraging use of LEAN tools to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring proper upkeep of maintenance shop equipment, tools, and parts
- Aligning maintenance with business goals and tracking KPIs in collaboration with Asset Managers
- Supporting development of budgets, reliability strategies, and capital project handoffs aligned with plant needs (ATP/ADP)
- Ensuring new capital projects align with site objectives, oversee project execution, and facilitate smooth handoff to site maintenance
- Optimizing asset performance through care strategies and reliability processes
- Supporting reliability goals, succession planning, and team engagement
- Collaborating with support teams and applying site-wide best practices
If you...
- Possess a bachelor’s degree with preference to mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering.
- Have 7+ years experience within a chemical manufacturing environment (strongly preferred)
- Have 3+ years experience in management. (Strongly preferred)
- Have in-depth understanding of process engineering concepts including process equipment design; pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, piping systems, PSVs, etc.
- Have knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Mechanical Integrity and other applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
- Have strong attention to detail and communication ability.
