Summary:
The Product Specialist at Multiax Technologies is responsible for providing in-depth knowledge of our CNC door machines and related technologies to support sales, marketing, product development, customer service, and machine installations. This role acts as a bridge between the technical and commercial aspects of our products, ensuring customer satisfaction and product excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Product Expertise and Support
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Multiax Technologies' CNC door machines, including their features, specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.
- Serve as a primary technical resource for the sales and marketing teams, providing detailed product information and demonstrations.
- Train internal teams and customers on product operation, maintenance, and best practices.
- Collaborate with field technicians to diagnose and resolve complex product issues.
2. Customer Engagement
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend the appropriate Multiax CNC solutions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, ensuring customers are satisfied with their purchase and its implementation.
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to product specifications, customization options, and performance.
3. Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Partner with the Engineering team to relay customer feedback and market trends for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling product presentations and proposals tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Assist the marketing team in developing product documentation, brochures, and other promotional materials.
4. Machine Installation and Setup
- Oversee the installation of new Multiax CNC machines at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and calibration to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with field service technicians to ensure installations are completed on time and within scope.
- Provide on-site support during installations to address any technical challenges and ensure a seamless process.
- Verify that all safety and quality standards are met during the installation process.
- Train customers on machine operation and initial maintenance procedures following installation.
5. Training and Documentation
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers on the operation and preventive maintenance of Multiax CNC machines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including specifications, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, technicians, and sales engineers to identify areas for product improvement.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of product delivery and support.
7. Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present reports on product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to leadership.
- Track and analyze the success of product initiatives and provide recommendations for future actions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and internal teams effectively.
- Proven experience with machine installation, setup, and calibration.
- Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address complex product issues.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and best practices.
- Proficiency in technical writing for creating manuals and documentation.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple responsibilities.
This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery, installation, and operation of Multiax Technologies' CNC machines while fostering customer trust and satisfaction.

The Multiax facility includes 7,400 square feet of warehouse/showroom space where CNC machines are set up for performing customer sales discussions, training, and demos. We have a large spare parts area for organizing and shipping spare parts as needed by our customers. In addition, 1,200 square feet of office space with conference and training room.
