Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $34.07 - $45.17/hour (based on licensure type and experience)
Travel: Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate ($0.64/mile)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Therapist to join the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The Team Leader will provide leadership, clinical support, and direct care to adults with serious mental illness. This role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff to ensure effective program operations and high-quality client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapy, case management, advocacy, and crisis intervention services in community-based settings.

• Collaborate with the ACT team and community partners to coordinate care and ensure adherence to ACT fidelity standards.

• Facilitate team meetings and assist with staff orientation and training.

• Participate in on-call crisis coverage as part of the team rotation.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with agency and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling .

• Licensure: Active Michigan LMSW, LLP, or LPC (full licensure required; must remain in good standing).

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with adults with mental health or substance use disorders.

• Preferred: Prior experience in a community mental health setting.

• Certifications:

  • Eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation at time of hire.

  • Must obtain Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire.

  • Must have CAADC or be on an approved MCBAP Development Plan within 6 weeks of hire.

• Strong clinical assessment, engagement, and intervention skills.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to manage crises and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Valid chauffeur's license and clean driving record required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $34.07 - $45.17/hour (depending on licensure and experience).

• Mileage reimbursement for field travel.
