Project Manager

The Project Manager is the orchestrator-in-chief for medium to large-scale branding projects, working across brand strategy and messaging, website design and development, sales enablement tools and marketing collateral, digital marketing campaigns, and more. You'll be the connective tissue between clients, creative teams, strategists, developers, and everyone in between—keeping projects on track, on budget, and (dare we say) delightful to work on.

This isn't just about moving things along a timeline. You'll bring a consultative approach, offering insights on process, feasibility, and strategic direction that shape how projects unfold. Responsibilities

Be a strategic partner

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Creative Leads to make strategic decisions about project direction, client relationships, and business growth
• Bring a consultative approach—offering insights on feasibility, process optimization, and strategic implications that inform how we move forward
• Help identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, solve complex challenges, and position the agency for future work
• Participate in key decisions that shape not just project execution, but client satisfaction and agency success

Keep the trains running (on time and on budget)

• Develop project timelines and track progress against milestones
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and exceed client expectations
• Proactively identify issues and risks before they become problems, escalating when needed

Be the hub of information

• Act as the central knowledge base for your projects—the person everyone can count on for clarity
• Communicate relevant project information and provide clear direction on deliverables, budgets, and timing
• Lead internal project status meetings that people actually want to attend

Make things better

• Assist in the development and iteration of agency processes and best practices
• Bring ideas for how we can work smarter, not just harder
• Help us maintain our high bar while staying human about it

Build bridges

• Build and maintain strong working relationships across all departments—design, content, development, digital marketing, and strategy
• Balance the dual expectations of clients and the agency with grace and diplomacy
• Anticipate potential relationship or expectation issues and address them proactively

Requirements

Experience

• 3+ years of project management experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
• Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities

Our agency operates in a hybrid model, allowing the team to work at headquarters in Southfield, MI or from home. Fully remote employees must be able to:

• Work EST hours. Our office hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm EST; work is done during these hours unless client needs/deadlines require otherwise.
• Secure a stable home wi-fi/connectivity setup that supports virtual work/meetings.
• Travel to HQ and/or client locations 3-4 times per year, in support of collaboration, team productivity, and client requirements. Travel and lodging expenses for required visits by fully remote employee will be covered by Moncur.
