About Us
Moore Mechanical, part of the MM Acquisitions group, is a leading HVAC and plumbing contractor serving West Michigan. Position Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plumbing Apprentices. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing industry while learning directly from experienced plumbers and field leaders.
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist with the installation, service, and maintenance of plumbing systems while gaining hands-on field experience and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of plumbing systems in residential and commercial projects
- Support plumbers and field teams on job sites
- Learn to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plumbing systems
- Load and organize tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Follow company safety procedures and job site protocols
- Learn blueprint reading, plumbing layouts, and installation fundamentals
- Complete apprenticeship training requirements and ongoing education
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
