Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 educational institution in New Haven, MI is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support the communication development of elementary students within a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare reports as required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss intervention strategies and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of care.
Position Details:
- Location: New Haven, MI
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, onsite
- Contract duration: School year (NSY)
- Caseload focus: Elementary students
