About the Job:

Join Independent Bank and play a vital role in supporting the Loan Servicing team by completing essential daily clerical tasks.

In this position, you'll handle both inbound and outbound phone calls, addressing customers' loan questions with clarity and professionalism.

What You Will Do:

• Ability to communicate with the entire Loan Servicing team including General Servicing, Escrow Servicing, Payoff/Discharge, Loan Review, Modifications and Investor Accounting, Collections, and Management teams.
• Accurately edits all categories of Loan input. Notes all errors and prepares corrective maintenance.
• Prepares/Works various reports within Servicing.
• Works within servicing in various departments to fill in with the supervisor’s direction.
• Prepare the documents to be imaged.
• Performs extensive research when required.
• Inform the supervisor of any new or repetitive inaccuracies.
• Answer phone calls and complete system maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mortgage/Consumer loan servicing experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Strong detail and organizational skills required.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of FIServ, Image Centre, Encompass, Word, Excel, Outlook, and copier.
