Customer Relations Associate & Product Specialist ElectionSource is searching for a positive, creative, detail-oriented person with sales experience for the position of Customer Relations Associate & Product Specialist. This position is responsible for providing customer service, election equipment testing and maintenance. Additionally, this position offers sales opportunities for ElectionSource products and services, with commission. This is a full time salaried (plus commission) position, and includes the following benefits; Vacation & Holiday time off, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, a matching 401K plan, and use of a company cell phone & vehicle or mileage.

Responsibilities

• Proactively provide support to resolve customer product & service requests and coordinate effective and appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.
• Sell and process product and service orders based on customer needs, requirements, warranties, and/or customer contracts.
• Assist in training within sales territory.
• Collaborate with customers and internal departments to provide timely, accurate information and feedback on improving end-user functionality.
• Contribute to the preparation of each election precinct reports, coding, and ballot orders.
• Meet with County and Local Clerks to discuss new products, voting systems and election services.
• Handling support calls from clients
• Proactively provide support to resolve customer product & service requests, and coordinating effective and appropriate solutions to meet customer needs
• Process product & service orders based on the customer needs, requirements, warranties and/or customer contract
• Collaborate with customers, and internal departments to provide timely and accurate information and feedback on improving end-user functionality
• Work with ElectionSource management team on implementing State of Michigan Bureau of Election updates and certifications
• Travel to Clerk Association Meetings
• Other assigned responsibilities as needed or required

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated skills supporting complex technical product implementations & solutions
• Customer Relations and Sales experience preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of the elections industry preferred, but not required (we will train)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with good presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills including multi-tasking and time management
• Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with customers
• Ability to analyze problems and identify potential solutions and preventive measures
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
• Capability to work longer hours during election time
• Good driving record
• Positive attitude
• Self-starter
