PL-Java Senior Developer - (Level 5)

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer (Level 5) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development , Microservices architecture , and hands-on experience with Joboss (versions 6.5 to 8) , Docker , and Jenkins for CI/CD automation. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills (8/10 or above) to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Note: Candidates must be living in or willing to relocate to Lansing, MI (or nearby areas) . Work setup is hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote .

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Work with Joboss (6.5 to 8) for enterprise-level solutions and integrations.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for build and deployment automation.
• Build and manage applications in Docker containerized environments .
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to capture and refine requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance in all deliverables.

• Level 5 Java expertise (10+ years of hands-on development experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Java 8+ , Spring / Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Proven experience in designing and developing Microservices architectures .
• Strong hands-on experience with Joboss (6.5 to 8) .
• Solid experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Docker expertise for containerization and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Excellent communication skills (8/10 or above) - ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Kubernetes (container orchestration).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Leadership qualities with proven ability to work in collaborative environments.
