Job Title: Medical Assistant – Pediatric Office
Location: Flint, MI

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our pediatric practice in Flint. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, proficiency in electronic medical records, and strong organizational and communication skills. This role involves both clinical and administrative duties to support the smooth operation of our office and provide the highest quality care to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers with pediatric patient care, including rooming, vitals, and documentation in electronic medical notes (EMR).

• Administer pediatric immunizations and provide age-appropriate education to patients and families.

• Support front desk operations including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient check-in and check-out.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.

• Prepare and stock exam rooms, maintain a clean and safe environment, and manage medical supplies.

• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and office staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent customer service.

• Provide compassionate support and reassurance to children and their families.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pediatrics, especially with immunizations.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EMedical notes).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and families.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.

Schedule & Benefits:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday.

• $17.00/hr (wage evaluation after 90 days!)
