This position will be a hybrid work schedule out of our San Diego, CA - may consider full time teleworking dependent on selected candidate
In this role, you will:

Own the financial health of assigned government contracts from award to closeout, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.

Partner with program managers to forecast, budget, and track performance across multiple contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP).

Apply your FAR expertise to ensure every dollar is managed in compliance with federal regulations.

Drive insight through monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and actionable recommendations.

Support growth by contributing to proposal pricing, cost volumes, and contract modifications.

Collaborate cross-functionally with contracts, procurement, and leadership to solve challenges and seize opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (advanced degree or CPA/CFA a plus).

At least 5 years of program finance experience in a government contracting environment.

Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and revenue recognition principles.

Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems like Deltek Costpoint.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
