Assignment Details

• TELE, PCU, and Step-Down needs nationwide
• Contract lengths: 8–13 weeks with high extension potential
• Day or night shift depending on facility
• Typical patient ratios follow state/facility guidelines
• EMRs vary (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to monitored and moderately acute patient populations
• Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythms; escalate abnormalities promptly
• Manage cardiac drips (per facility requirements)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive safe patient outcomes
• Perform thorough assessments, documentation, and patient education
• Maintain compliance and adapt quickly to new environments

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of recent TELE, PCU, or Step-Down RN experience (within the last 18 months)
• Active RN license (state-specific license required before start)
• AHA BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
• Strong telemetry rhythm recognition skills
• Experience with stable drips and monitored patient care
• Ability to complete onboarding, compliance, and credentialing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in fast-paced or high-acuity step-down settings
• Familiarity with multiple EMR systems
