Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, using specified forms and software.
• Utilize precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products according to established procedures.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
• Maintain and organize quality control records, inspection logs, and test data.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality standards.
• Experience with root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data collection for quality reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or similar certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment
