Senior Messaging Engineer (Michigan)
Title : Senior Messaging Engineer
Work Schedule: Part-time assignment (15 hours per week), Monday through Friday. There is no fixed daily schedule, and work will occur outside of standard 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours. Evening and occasional weekend availability is required.
Work Location: Exception approved for a fully remote position.
Interview Process : 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate.
Assignment duration: Initial 1-year contract with a possibility of extension based on performance and business needed.
Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
• 10+ years of experience customizing MessageWay, MWIR, TIBCO, and MOVEit, including a strong understanding of their strengths, limitations, configurations, customer support, troubleshooting, and associated networks.
• 10+ years of MessageWay, MWIR, and MOVEit database architecture
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and stakeholders across multiple State departments.
• Experience configuring and testing MessageWay, MWIR, MOVEit, and TIBCO applications.
• Extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and methodologies, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Design, develop, test, document, package, and delivery of scripts
