Job Description: Molding Operator

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Operating Machines:

  • Run the molding machine or do other tasks as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of quantities, scrap, and time on forms like time slips and WIP labels.

• Quality Check:

  • Look at all parts to make sure they meet the requirements.
  • Fill out a time slip when you finish each task.

• Workstation Upkeep:

  • Keep your workstation clean and tidy.
  • Follow quality policies.

Requirements:

• Training:

  • Complete all necessary training for the job.

• Skills:

  • Be able to read and understand job instructions.
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

• Physical Ability:

  • Be willing to sit or stand for long periods.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

• You might need to sit, stand, bend, and move around as needed.
• You need to be able to move around the manufacturing floor and handle equipment and products.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds using proper techniques.
• Expect some noise, dust, odors, and fumes typical of a manufacturing environment.
