As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure atmosphere for employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any unusual activity. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for safely navigating the premises as you monitor different areas. You will also provide outstanding customer service, demonstrating professionalism and clear communication with everyone you encounter. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for potential hazards or unusual conditions throughout the utilities location and promptly report findings.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or drills.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
