Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available within a K-12 setting in Warren, MI. This contract position spans the entire school year and offers roles specializing in both resource and self-contained classrooms. Educators will work with diverse learners across kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Deliver tailored instruction in resource classrooms as well as self-contained settings.
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel to promote student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as appropriate.
• Participate in meetings and interviews pertinent to student development and staffing.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in special education.
• Experience working with K-12 students in resource and/or self-contained environments.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom settings.
