About the Role:
We’re looking for a Payroll and HR Coordinator who loves the details but also thrives on connection. You’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly — ensuring everyone gets paid accurately and on time while supporting a wide range of HR programs.
This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow in the HR field while gaining well-rounded experience across payroll, benefits, and employee relations. You’ll touch nearly every part of the business and interact with employees at all levels, from the warehouse to the leadership team.
What You’ll Do:
Payroll
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time — every week matters!
- Audit timekeeping data, follow up on discrepancies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain payroll records, pay changes, deductions, and other updates in the HRIS.
- Be the go-to resource for payroll questions, providing excellent service to employees and managers.
- Support payroll reporting, audits, and compliance needs.
HR Support
- Maintain organized, confidential employee files and records.
- Support onboarding by entering new hire data and keeping systems accurate.
- Assist with benefits administration, recruitment coordination, and HR projects.
- Help drive HR team initiatives and process improvements.

What You Bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll and/or HR administration.
- Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
The Details:
This role is on-site at our Grand Rapids location and full-time. You’ll primarily work in an office environment but will have regular interaction with departments in all settings (warehouse, cooler, etc.). A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
