Position Title: Material Handler

Location: Allegan, MI.

Pay Range: $16-$18.00/Hour

Shift: 1st

Schedule: M-F, 7:00AM- 3:00PM

Talent Strategy is looking for a Material Handler. As a material handler you will be responsible for receiving all incoming shipments, preparing outgoing shipments and servicing all production employees. You should be highly skilled in the operation of standup and sit-down forklifts as well as processing all associated paperwork and you must have experience in sheet metal material handling. Must have great work history in order to be considered.

Job Description:

• Receives all materials from vendors, helps prepare outgoing shipments, and services all production employees
• Has experience handling and identifying sheet steel (carbon, aluminum, and stainless steel) and structural steel
• Maintains and organizes inventory
• Has 3 years of experience operating different types of forklifts
• The ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently
• The ability to identify and measure material
• The ability to process paperwork associated with all facets of the job
• The ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
