Staff Connections is seeking a dedicated, COTA to join our team and provide high-quality services in a school-based setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is motivated, organized, and excited to support students’ success across the school day.

Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist

Schedule: Flexible (full-time or part-time opportunities available)

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized and group OT services to students with diverse needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop IEP goals tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families to support student growth.
• Offer professional insights on sensory regulation, fine motor development, adaptive skills, and classroom modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school, district, and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, student-focused team culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Michigan or COTA
• Experience in school-based settings preferred—but strong new grads are welcome!
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• A passion for empowering students and supporting inclusive learning environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.
