Lead Outbound Operations That Keep Great Food Moving

With 50 production lines across 8 facilities, we rely on leaders who can translate purpose into performance. As our Outbound Logistics Supervisor, you’ll orchestrate the shipping floor so production never misses a beat and every order leaves safe, accurate, and on time.

What a day can look like

You walk the dock, verify trailer conditions and sanitation before loading, and talk through the plan with your team. You align product movement to the production schedule—staging materials for the next shift, coordinating unloading/loading, and managing the yard so trailers, drivers, and doors are where they need to be. You confirm purchase orders, spot-check paperwork, and ensure raw ingredients, WIP, and packaging match the Bill of Lading, are within expiration, and carry the correct bulk/film revision numbers. Between rounds, you review Workday timecards, schedule labor, monitor warehouse conditions, and check that Hi-Lo inspections are complete for every shift while keeping the forklift fleet in top working order. You reinforce RBC Allergen protocols and SOPs, facilitate annual and on-the-job training, and when needed, step in as the S1 backup Bulk Receiver. In the Shipping Manager’s absence, you join plant management meetings and actively contribute to the food safety team—always ensuring every element of Food Safety is met.

What you’ll lead

• End-to-end shipping execution: unloading/loading, staging, and material flow tied to the production plan
• Yard management and purchase order confirmation
• Trailer pre-load inspections for condition and sanitation
• Verification of materials against Bills of Lading, expiration dates, and revision controls (bulk/film)
• Paperwork audits and process adherence across the department
• Food safety leadership: RBC Allergen compliance and participation on the food safety team
• Hi-Lo fleet oversight, including per-shift safety inspections
• Training ownership (HILO & SOP), including annual refreshers
• Labor scheduling, warehouse condition monitoring, and Workday time approval for weekly payroll
• Operational coverage as S1 backup Bulk Receiver

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on shipping/warehouse leadership in a manufacturing environment
• Strong food safety mindset and allergen control rigor
• Confidence with documentation, Bills of Lading, and inventory movement
• Experience directing yard, dock, and forklift operations
• Skill in training teams, enforcing SOPs, and using systems like Workday
