A Look into Your Day

As a Mortgage Systems Specialist at Mercantile Bank, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our core mortgage systems, including the Loan Origination System (LOS), Point of Sale (POS), and pricing engine. Your responsibilities will include assisting with system updates, troubleshooting, and the testing and deployment of new features and releases. Collaborating closely with senior team members, you'll focus on making necessary adjustments to improve system performance and user experience. This position also involves reviewing current workflows to identify efficiency improvements and providing Tier 1 support for user management, technical help desk inquiries, and ancillary mortgage systems. Your proactive approach to user acceptance testing and change management will contribute significantly to the seamless operation of our mortgage technology, with opportunities to expand your responsibilities as your expertise grows.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of mortgage processes and products
• At least 1 year of experience in mortgage
• Two-year college degree or specialist training and certifications related to mortgage systems
• Familiarity with various software tools and technology, particularly in the context of mortgage systems
