At Boston Scientific, we’ll give you the opportunity to harness all that’s within you by working in teams of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health industry challenges. With access to the latest tools, information and training, we’ll help you in advancing your skills and career. Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.

About the role:

At Boston Scientific, our Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IOE) business is anchored by TheraSphere™ Y-90 glass microspheres, a targeted radioembolization therapy for treating hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and related liver tumors. TheraSphere enables precise delivery of radiation — maximizing dose to tumor cells while preserving healthy tissue — and is engineered to minimize risks of stasis or reflux.

We operate at the forefront of minimally invasive cancer therapies and are continually expanding into new geographies and high-growth adjacent markets. Our technology portfolio supports personalized dosing, reproducible clinical outcomes, and a strong pipeline.

This role demands a professional with strong clinical aptitude, capable of working in a collaborative team environment. A deep understanding of angiography labs, microcatheter techniques and interventional radiology workflows will be critical.

As a Clinical Representative for TheraSphere, you will promote Boston Scientific’s radioembolization solutions within a defined geographic territory by driving adoption within existing accounts, securing new clinical partnerships and contributing directly to growth and revenue.

This territory will cover the entire state of Michigan, including Toledo, OH.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in executing a proactive regional plan integrating clinical, sales and service support to increase adoption of TheraSphere, grow market share and elevate the standard of customer care.

• Serve as the primary clinical resource for TheraSphere in your territory — supporting case planning, troubleshooting, dose calculations and customer training.

• Attend TheraSphere procedures in customer accounts, advising physicians on catheterization techniques, dosimetry strategy and radiation safety best practices. Represent the IOE field organization during BSC clinic/lab days.

• Educate interventional radiologists, oncologists and support teams on the clinical advantages and optimal use of TheraSphere through in-person and virtual presentations, workshops and hands-on demonstrations.

• Provide supplemental training support for new site launches, complex dosing scenarios and high-touch clinical accounts.

• Respond to customer questions, technical issues or product concerns by formulating solutions or coordinating with internal experts and service teams.

• Oversee consignment inventory, perform regular audits and manage logistics for beta-emitting microsphere vials (expired product returns, safe disposal).

• Ensure timely collection, reporting and compliance of all medical and regulatory documentation related to procedure records, dose logs, safety reporting and product usage.

• Uphold the Quality Policy by embedding quality into all activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting audits or investigations as needed.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical, interventional or medical device field

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience with radioembolization (Y-90 therapies, transarterial radioembolization/TARE) or related interventional oncology procedures

• Proven field clinical experience with angiographic workflow and catheter-based therapies

• Experience selling into nuclear medicine, interventional radiology or oncology

• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts, travel extensively and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills, molecular mindset and willingness to be coached, collaborate and mentor others

• Familiarity with radiation safety, dosimetry principles and regulatory documentation desirable
