CNC Machinist

Job description:

Smith Brothers Tool Company established in 1981 manufactures a variety of tool fabrication solutions for the Space, Aerospace, and Defense Industries. We are a premier machining, weld fabrication, and tooling shop that provides in-house design, engineering, building, and certification capabilities. Design and tool fabrication includes assembly tools, lay-up tools, large and small checking tools, mill fixtures, and more. Some of our customers include Boeing, Bell Helicopter, GE Aviation, and Honda Aircraft Company. We are looking for the right person to join our team!

CNC Machinist/Operator

• Performs set up, adjustments and operation of the CNC Milling Machines.
• Able to run the machines independently
• Must be able to read blue prints
• 3 axis and 5 axis machining experience a must.
• Qualifications:
• Good math and communication skills
• Must understand deadlines and impact on the overall business
• Detail oriented
• 5 or more years experience with CNC machines required.
• Experience with Fidia C20, TPI 2000, Fanuc OiMD, Siemens and Fadal machines required.

- Previous experience in the Aerospace industry a plus
