Position Summary
Midas of Cadillac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our team in Cadillac, Michigan. This role is ideal for a seasoned technician who enjoys staying hands-on while also leading and mentoring a small team. You will play a key role in performing advanced diagnostics and ensuring top-quality workmanship across all repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team of automotive technicians
- Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and quality standards
- Train and mentor entry-level technicians and trainees
- Communicate repair needs and findings clearly with team and customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as an Automotive Technician
- State of Michigan Certification for Auto Repair (Required)
- Valid driver’s license (Required)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems
