Human Resources Assistant (P/T 20-24 hours/week)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations while helping foster a strong, mission-driven workplace culture at our Corporate Office. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience—or strong transferable administrative skills—with a high level of organization, attention to detail, and initiative. In this role, you will support the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration such as offer letters, contracts, and renewals, while partnering with the HR Manager to improve processes. You will also play a key role in strengthening co-worker engagement and culture through team activities, devotions, and initiatives that reflect CURE’s mission, vision, and values.
Why CURE?
At CURE, you are joining a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing life-changing surgical care to children in underserved regions of the world. Every role contributes directly to advancing hope, healing, and the love of Christ through world-class medical care and compassionate service. Our culture is deeply rooted in collaboration, faith, and purpose, creating a workplace where co-workers are valued, supported, and connected to something far greater than themselves. If you are seeking meaningful work where your contributions truly matter, CURE offers the opportunity to grow your career while making a lasting global impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employment documentation (offer letters, contracts, I-9s, and verifications), and general administrative support.
- Drive co-worker engagement and workplace culture initiatives through recognition programs, devotions, Lunch & Learns, and other activities that reinforce CURE’s mission and values.
- Maintain accurate HR records, data management systems, and reporting to ensure compliance and support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate workplace logistics and office operations, including facility requests, seating arrangements, and employee office needs.
- Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and ensure smooth, efficient department operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree, Bachelors degree preferred in business administration, human resources, communications or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a human resources or administrative support role in a multi-faceted work environment.
- Proficient with technology and systems (e.g., Google Suite, HRIS, Excel, ERP, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a non-profit, international service organization preferred.
