Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and onboard production, skilled trades, and administrative staff for manufacturing operations.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures for plant personnel.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and manufacturing-specific safety regulations.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of workers' compensation claims and actively promote a strong safety culture within the facility.
- Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and performance improvement plans for manufacturing teams.
- Process payroll inputs, administer benefits programs, and manage leave of absence requests for plant employees.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for manufacturing personnel, including safety and operational training.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolution in a production setting.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA) and experience with OSHA compliance and workers' compensation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a variety of manufacturing roles, including production, maintenance, and supervisory positions.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- OSHA compliance knowledge or experience.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish).
- Experience supporting a multi-shift or 24/7 manufacturing operation.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
