Job Title: Personal Computer Support Specialist

Location: Pontiac, MI (Onsite)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Personal Computer Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining end-user computing devices while ensuring minimal downtime and efficient user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain PC hardware and peripherals (monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, disk drives).
• Load, configure, and verify software including operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Perform workstation setup including network connectivity and system configuration.
• Manage user profiles and perform data/application migration between systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
• Perform minor repairs or escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Provide onsite technical support to end users.
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop OS and Microsoft 365 services .
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and SCCM .
• Experience with endpoint security tools such as Trellix ENS .
• Knowledge of network setup and troubleshooting .
• Experience with printer configuration (LPR printing) .
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise environments.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, etc.).
