Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
• Oversee all procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Manage the materials planning process, ensuring timely availability of components for production.
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow and delivery.
• Utilize MRP/ERP systems for accurate data management, forecasting, and production scheduling.
• Analyze material costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials planning and purchasing teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with international sourcing and logistics.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
