Friendly And Energetic Certified Nurse Aide

Friendship Village is recruiting for a friendly and energetic certified nurse aide to join our health center team! This opportunity is part time, 8-hour CNA shifts. This position has benefits, great staff-resident ratio, and teamwork. Starting pay is $19.00 plus years of experience. This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a restorative aide/CNA:

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly
• Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of resident under supervision of RN and LPN.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Successful completion from a state approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
