We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable individual to join our team. As an experienced Snow Plow Operator, you will work alongside other team members to create superior quality customer service. Areas of responsibility for this position include snow plow removal & salt services to commercial customers, overseeing the completion of the daily schedule, submitting daily work logs, working cohesively with the general manager to provide a list of inventory and vehicle maintenance reports, responding to emergency service requests, and other tasks as assigned by the general manager. Prepare the work vehicle with daily work supplies, lifting 50 lbs or more, and provide customer satisfaction. The workload will be approximately 95% snow plow removal & salt services-based tasks and 5% administrative tasks. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED

• CLEAN driving record and proof of driver's license REQUIRED

• 1-2 years of experience with snow plow removal & salt spreader equipment

• Required to weather watch and communicate a plan of action for service to the general manager

• Responsible for clearing parking lots and selected walks on assigned sites

• Accountable for checking oil, transmission, and hydraulic fluid on service trucks and plows

• Required to log accurate start/stop times on written logs for each site for plowing/salting

• Required to clean all personal items along with trash from the trucks daily

• Must power wash trucks at the end of the daily work schedule for excess salt removal

• Must communicate the schedule to the general manager and hand crew members before starting the schedule

• Must be available for emergency service calls throughout the day

• Ability to adapt to inclement weather conditions

PAY

The final pay rate offer is determined and depends on previous work experience with snow plowing and experience with snow removal equipment. Based on experience and certifications/licenses, the starting hourly rate is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
