• This is an excellent entry level opportunity to learn the basics of ready mix plant operations and a stepping stone into growth opportunities within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain/cleaning the concrete plant, the yard, and all equipment.
• Physical Labor: Power Washing, shoveling, breaking and chipping concrete within the mix truck barrels
• Sprays surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of concrete.
• Moving dirt, gravel, cement and aggregate

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable transportation to work
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Knowledge of mechanics a plus

Physical Requirements

• Substantial walking, balancing, standing, turning, climbing, stooping, crouching, and reaching.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 30-70 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to work in outdoor elements within an industrial plant environment.
• Required to wear a hard hat, work boots, gloves and safety glasses while working in plant or yard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
