Woodshop Organizational Specialist - 2nd Shift
Job Summary
Fast growing, family owned and operated millwork company seeking a dependable, hardworking, organized individual to lead our afternoon production operations. This position is a quality control, shift lead, material handler position. Service members are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Quality Control - Monitor production lines for consistency and quality.
- Material Handling - Operate forklift to move lumber throughout the plant.
- Production Support - Prepare correct amounts of the required lumber to the moulder operators to complete various production runs.
- Inventory Management - Properly sort, segregate and stack lumber while accurately documenting the production runs.
Qualfications
- Must be able to drive a traditional forklift
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be proficient in measuring with a tape measure or micrometer.
- Experience in moulding and millwork preferred.
- Experience in window and door installation is a plus.
- Identifying lumber species is preferred.
