The St. Clair Inn has an exciting opportunity to join our food & beverage team as a food runner. The Food Runner's primary responsibility is to swiftly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience. They also assist waitstaff by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and maintaining overall cleanliness.

• Transporting food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Double-checking orders with the kitchen and servers to ensure accuracy before delivery.
• Clearing finished plates, glasses, and utensils from tables, and resetting them for new guests.
• Refilling water and other beverages for customers.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to coordinate food delivery and address any special requests or issues.
• Providing friendly and efficient service to guests, answering basic questions about the menu, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Keeping the dining area, expo line, and other assigned areas clean and organized.

• Ability to clearly communicate with both kitchen and serving staff, as well as customers.
• Providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests.
• Working effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth service.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize orders, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Understanding of proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Managing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
