Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Manage and monitor supplier performance, addressing issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Oversee inventory levels to optimize stock and ensure continuous production, minimizing waste and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to forecast material needs and support new product development.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives within the purchasing function.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on strategic sourcing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and supplier performance.
• Experience with international sourcing and logistics, including customs and trade compliance.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to global supply chains.
