Operations Lead, Tires and Trailer Service

The company is seeking an Operations Lead, Tires and Trailer Service, to oversee and support the Tire and Trailer Service Teams across multiple Michigan locations. This role is integral to ensuring high-quality service delivery, efficient operations, and a safe, organized work environment. The Operations Lead will collaborate closely with leadership, drive departmental growth, and help foster a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture. Responsibilities

• Support leadership in managing daily operations within the Tire and Trailer Service departments, including inventory and shop floor oversight across multiple service shops.
• Oversee front counter and administrative functions for multiple Michigan locations.
• Ensure delivery of quality service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and control department spending to achieve profitability and meet departmental P&L objectives.
• Assist in the strategic growth and development of the Tire and Trailer division.
• Participate in branch meetings to align departmental activities with company objectives.
• Contribute to recruiting, training, coaching, and developing staff, utilizing performance management and leadership tools.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to set and achieve department goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promote and enforce safety policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional tasks and participate in strategic projects as required.

Qualifications

• College degree and at least two years of related management experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in the tire industry; heavy truck and agricultural experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to read, interpret, and utilize company financial statements.
• Confident and positive attitude, demonstrating servant leadership principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
