Job Title: Machine Technician

Job Description

Responsible for total CNC machine setup, operation, maintenance, and safety. This role requires performing a variety of milling, drilling, or boring tasks using Toshiba equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines with precision and accuracy.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Utilize blueprints and programming software, such as Mastercam, to execute machining tasks.
• Engage in manual machining, boring mill operations, and operate axis mills and lathes.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and manual machining.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Experience with Mastercam or related programming software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Programming skills are a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
