Senior Brand Designer

Heirloom Hospitality is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Brand Designer to lead the creative efforts for our family of restaurants. This role will focus on the creative strategy, brand personality, and growing identities across all concepts. They will oversee all in-house design work, design work with partners, and manage and execute external print production. The Senior Brand Designer will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints, including packaging, menus, marketing collateral, and digital brand presence across platforms. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will play a key part in shaping exceptional guest experiences and cultivating relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Management & Execution:
• Maintain the visual identity for all restaurant brands and aid in the development of new brands, ensuring consistency across all creative assets.
• Responsible for the design of all tangible and digital design work. Including but not limited to menu designs, digital graphics, packaging, signage, print collateral, and environmental elements that enhance the guest experience.
• Provide creative support for in-restaurant and experiential campaigns.
• Creative Collaboration & Partners Oversight:
• Work with the Director of Marketing to aid in creative and art direction for photoshoots and video productions, as well as external brand partners, ensuring high-quality output aligned with brand standards to deliver on-brand content and initiatives.
• Brand Ownership:
• Ensure all design elements reflect Heirloom Hospitality’s core values and brand vision.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop creative concepts that support strategic goals.
• Project Management & Coordination:
• Manage timelines and production schedules for design projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and vendors to execute initiatives and communications seamlessly.
• Stay ahead of design trends, sharing insights with the team and applying relevant innovations to enhance guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hospitality design experience, must have experience in restaurants and/or the hospitality industry, additional food and beverage industry relative is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Cava).
• Knowledge of operations within restaurants is a plus.
• Strong understanding of branding, print production, packaging design and production.
• Familiarity with trends in content creation and professional digital media files and formats.
• Excellent communication, project management, time management, and team collaboration skills.
• Maintain flexibility and be able to set priorities as challenges are presented in a fast-paced, changing, and dynamic environment.
• Ability to balance creativity with business goals and meet tight deadlines until projects are complete (strong emphasis on new restaurant openings).
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
