What You'll Do:

As an Elementary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and implementing innovative lesson plans that align with the Michigan Common Core standards, igniting a love of learning in your students.
• Employing a variety of research-based instructional strategies and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Fostering a classroom environment that is both stimulating and supportive, encouraging students to take risks and embrace challenges.
• Evaluating student progress regularly, providing personalized feedback, and collaborating with parents and colleagues to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
• Inspiring students to develop strong character, responsibility, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
• Actively participating in professional development opportunities to stay at the forefront of educational best practices.
• Being a positive role model, demonstrating ethical behavior, and upholding school policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Education (required).
• A valid State of Michigan teaching certificate in Elementary Education (required).
• Proven expertise in planning, delivering, and assessing student learning.
• A strong understanding of research-based instructional strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and engage students.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Punctuality, good attendance, and a strong work ethic.
• An unwavering belief that all children can succeed, and a dedication to making that belief a reality.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred.

Schedule:

• Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift)
• In-person

Position: Certified Elementary Teacher (PK-5)

Compensation: Up to $50 per hour
