We welcome diverse pedagogical backgrounds and encourage applicants to describe how their educational and/or applied experience aligns with the teaching responsibilities of this position (up to 2 pages)

- Candidates must hold an active certification to perform intraoperative neuromonitoring by ABRET (CNIM) or other equivalent IONM-specific certification.
- Established as a successful educator in the field of IONM, demonstrated by education of peers through delivery of local and regional talks, experience in classroom settings, and successful mentorship of IONM clinicians.
- Service to the field of IONM, evidenced by membership in professional society committees, involvement in delivery or moderation of peer education programs (local, regional, or national programs, symposia, or webinars), curricular development, or development of best practices or innovative methods in practice-based disciplinary areas.
- Candidates must have experience monitoring a variety of procedures, including complex cases such as skull base tumor resections, spinal cord and brainstem mapping, and supratentorial brain tumor resection with mapping.
- Skills and abilities such as providing laboratory oversight, serving as a course coordinator, maintaining inventory of lab supplies, mentoring of IONM clinicians, contributing to new academic curricula, developing inclusive teaching initiatives, and collaborative research and scholarship are strongly preferred.
